欣欣教育基金会农村教育发展研究会在京启动

2015年7月30日,由欣欣教育基金会、教育信息化协同创新中心主办的“互联网+”时代的农村教育发展论坛召开,本次论坛作为“欣欣校长培训”活动的重要环节,近50位来自全国不同地区的偏远乡村学校校长与北师大教授及教育信息化协同创新中心专家进行交流学习。

教育部基础一司副司长俞伟跃在《新形势下我国义务教育均衡发展》专题报告中指出,经过对基础教育的大力投入和扶持,中小学教师队伍学历明显提高,学校硬件设施不断完善,呈现快速发展态势。

2010-2013年间,全国乡村教师数量由472.95万变为330.45万,流失人数142.5万,流失率达30%。

对于如何改善偏远农村学校教学环境的问题,国务院参事汤敏通过现场视屏通话进行了《如何用互联网+的思路解决教育均衡发展》的专题演讲,表示中国许多偏远地区,教育资源非常匮乏,许多农村学校存在乡村教师“下不去”、“留不住”、“教不好”等普遍现象,造成的教师资源匮乏,使得当地教育质量非常低。当下,互联网+时代已经将传统意义上的时间与距离打破,我们可以把中国优质的教育资源通过互联网带到全国教育落后的地方,让资源得到共享,并且实现基础教育的均衡发展,这是一个行之有效的方法,让偏远农村学校的孩子可以通过互联网那个看到类似北京人大附小等优秀学校教师的教学课件,今儿解决教学质量差的问题。这就需要除政府的资金投入外,全社会更多的公益组织能够加入进来,为贫困乡村的儿童提供多媒体设备等、帮助他们能够获得更好的教育。

今年是“欣欣校长培训”活动开展第二年,该项活动是欣欣教育基金会通过组织乡村校长在全国优秀高校进行交流学习、培训,改善中国偏远农村教育环境,让偏远农村的孩子能够更好的教育,并且通过活动呼吁全社会关注偏远农村的教育。欣欣教育基金会将在今后设立专项基金用于为中国偏远农村学校捐赠多媒体教学设备,在软件支持和硬件设施双重支持下,加快偏远农村教学环境的改善进程。

据了解,欣欣教育基金会是1997年由美国华侨发起创立的致力于协助中国偏远乡村兴建学校并提供长期关怀和服务的公募基金会。目前已经帮助中国25个省市贫困地区建设342所学校,为乡村教师提供免费培训,图书馆计划等缩短城乡教育差距。
